Unveiling_webWhen Mayor Bonnie Crombie helped unveil a new sign to a round of applause, more than two years of planning became a reality as Superior Packaging celebrated its grand opening.

Superior Packaging is a partnership business, featuring high-quality custom packaging services where the partners in the business are individuals who have an intellectual disability.

“It has been an exciting journey as we transformed Mississauga Packaging and Assembly into Superior Packaging,” said Michele Signorile, Business Development Manager at Superior Packaging. “None of this would have been possible without the support of our partners, their families, our customers and our community supporters.”

“The majority of the partners have been in their positions for more than 15 years and they have committed themselves to the work and many operational changes that have allowed us to be where we are today,” said Bryan Bando, Manager of Operations at Superior Packaging.

“Special thanks have to go out to all the families who believe in the importance of empowering their sons and daughters to become business partners and grow as individuals,” continued Bando.

Superior Packaging’s existing customer base spans multiple sectors, from small to large enterprises including; Automotive, Banking, Construction, Medical/Pharmaceutical, and Marketing.

“We are continuing to find new customers who are looking for superior quality at affordable rates,” said Signorile. “Superior Packaging may just be starting out, but we know that one day – in the near future – we will be a viable and sustainable competitor in the packaging industry.”
